I have a penchant for travel and have relatives in far flung places, Australia, Malaysia, and Singapore, (my birthplace.) I grew up in in Bonnie Scotland, in Edinburgh, and now live in Cambridge. I love sunny, hot places, particularly Rome, Venice, Portugal, Barcelona, and I forgot to mention the sun drenched beaches of the Caribbean, how could I? I am lucky to have been blessed with two lovely daughters and a husband who I fondly refer to in this blog as my black sheep. Family joke!   3. Good lord Marje, you are the second blogger I know that lives but a stones throw away…how small this world really is….ice skating I’m terrible at, never grabbed meas sensible at all…a virtual event, however, has a degree of “give it a go”

      1. Do you ever meet up with any? I’ve heard loads of people hop all over to organised blog bashes and the like. Not that introverts like me tend to do that sort of shenanigans

      3. I imagine they are friendly given the type of person that blogs. They all have unique things to say and seem to just want to get along and not act like lemmings following politicos or ideology without thinking for themselves. Tremendously supportive too…
        Where was the last one you went to held?
