My Tanka for Colleen’s Tanka Tuesday Challenge this week has been inspired by a shared video I saw on a friend’s Facebook page, showing how the sea can be a bit rough and choppy one minute, and so dangerous the next.

What’s even more apparent is this could happen to anyone. It really is terrifying, isn’t it?

Stay safe, love the sea, but respect it too.
Marje! I loved your Tanka and the inspiration behind it. You had me with your “shell coffins!” Brilliant! Hugs to you! <3
Thanks Colleen, bit of a more serious Tanka but sometimes the prompt words take you in that direction!
I think your words were excellent. I loved it.
Thank you Colleen. x
