Yay! I’ve been a bit busy these past few weeks working on the final edit and formatting for Hills and Valleys, the third book in my Ambeth series. And now I can happily say…. drum roll… it’s published!

Available on Amazon and part of KDP Select (so you can read for free as a Kindle Unlimited member), Hills And Valleys continues Alma’s story:

‘Sometimes things call to us until we can no longer ignore them. And Ambeth is calling you, Alma.’

After the events of the Harvest Fair, Alma is finished with Ambeth – they can find the missing Cup and Crown without her. But Ambeth is not finished with her. First the mystery of her dead father comes back to haunt her, then the Dark reach out, hoping to trap her once more.

And then there’s the strange power she seems to have…

If you’ve been reading along…

Screenshot_2016-05-20-10-04-34-1Today’s guest, Heena Rathore P., is a 25-year-old crime & thriller author and an international book reviewer.

She’s an introvert, a thinker, a neat freak, a voracious reader and a GSD-lover.

Apart from writing and reading, she loves doing all sorts of creative stuff, like baking, painting, sketching, crocheting, gaming and photography.

She dropped out of her engineering college in the 2nd year and started perusing 3D Animation Film Making.

She worked as a content writer after that for two years before she started working on her first novel.

Presently, she lives in Pune with her beloved husband and spends most of her days surrounded by books and nature.

So, lets start off with a smile. What’s the funniest mistake you ever made writing?

It’s not actually a mistake, but still a funny thing. I wrote the first draft’s scenes of my first novel backward – End first and…

7 really useful ‘How To’ articles – Getting the word out on WordPress

Fantastic ‘How to’ WordPress article from Sue Vincent, a must see, so reblogging it.

A few weeks ago I had a bit of a blip in the stats. Both visitors and views went up to several times the usual numbers. I was curious, especially as there hadn’t been anything of exceptional note published that day. The normal haiku, a couple of reblogs, and a couple of posts that were relatively lightweight. Nothing that might have been able to explain the hike in the figures.

There were no more ‘likes’ per post than usual… it seemed odd and, though not at all ungrateful for the extra traffic, the blue spike in the graph sort of bugged me. It reminded of that universally recognised digital taunt… the middle finger.

Was it telling me that I should stick to lightweight stuff if I wanted these kind of figures? That fluff is preferred over substance? I know that simple posts, easy on eye and mind get more of…

Hi everyone!

A while back I made a review on Flawed by Cecilia Ahern (you can read my review for it here) and recently I received a hardback copy of the book from the publishers! I can’t tell you how excited I was when I got it in the post – it just looked SO beautiful! I have been waiting for a chance to do a give-away on my blog but all of my books are second hand. And as soon as I got this book I knew I should definitely do a give-away on it.

So, in celebration of 150 followers on thesweetreview, I am hosting a give-away for the book Flawed by Cecilia Ahern.

The book is new and in good condition. It is a hardback copy of the book Flawed that came out recently. In one sentence, Flawed is a thrilling YA novel that tackles the issues…
