Hi.
Welcome to my blog: M J Mallon - Kyrosmagica Publishing. A blog about magic, books, writing, laughter, and much more! I'm a debut writer, my first YA fantasy novel The Curse of Time - Book 1 - Bloodstone is set in Cambridge. I write book reviews on my blog and on Goodreads. I have a penchant for travel and have relatives in far flung places, Australia, Malaysia, and Singapore, (my birthplace.) I grew up in in Bonnie Scotland, in Edinburgh, and now live in Cambridge. I love sunny, hot places, particularly Rome, Venice, Portugal, Barcelona, and I forgot to mention the sun drenched beaches of the Caribbean, how could I? I am lucky to have been blessed with two lovely daughters and a husband who I fondly refer to in this blog as my black sheep. Family joke! With my passion for travel, culture, beautiful beaches, good food, books, theatre, writing, and humour, I hope to keep you entertained. I'm loving every minute of this creative journey, please join me.

Thanks for the smile! Hope your tomorrow is better.
Thanks Dawne. Absolutely, tomorrow will be better! There’s no sunshine without the odd shadow popping through from time to time. 🙂
Some great ones there! Thank you for the grin today!
Hi. Glad you enjoyed them. I did too! 🙂
Sorry you struggle with Mondays. Me, I LOVE them! A fresh week. Another chance to do it all better. All those days in a straight line across my calendar, offering me new opportunities. It always feels like a mini-New Year’s Day to me. Clean. Filled with potential. 🙂 As long as I can go to bed Monday night, thinking of at least one or two good things that happened, and feeling happy about having accomplished at least one item on my To Do List, I’m a happy camper.
Mondays. Sometimes we just have to learn how to look at them differently. 😉 Took me a few years, but finally I learned how to go, “Another Monday, and I’m still here. And I have things to do today, most of which I’ll enjoy, and all of which are important, on one level or another.”
Going off now, before you smack me over the head for being relentlessly cheerful. 😀
No I don’t normally struggle with Mondays! Just wanted to have a light hearted laugh about the Monday syndrome. I did have a bit of a bad day : car problems, big bill, feeling a bit ill, you know nothing major but enough to put a bit of a dampener on the beginning of the week. But you’re right Mondays are sure better than not being here. Each day is precious, and the older you get the more you realise that. Hope you’re having a great Tuesday Marcia:)
I didn’t get to this until Wednesday, but it made me smile all the same. Thanks!
That’s great, glad it made you smile. 🙂
