Damages, broken limbs, a most unusual valentines – the poor restaurant didn’t stand a chance!
We squeezed into a corner next to a giant sized Valentine’s chocolate egg, exquisitely wrapped in pink, shiny wrapping.
My daughter nearly toppled it over with a careless swipe of her crutches. I can just see the look on the waitress’s face, a real shocker, Halloween horror expression.
Luckily, the prize-winning egg was saved.
We chose the Valentine’s menu but we stayed off the wine.
It was a long way back on crutches and we were terrified she might break more bones or chocolate!

Your poor daughter, Marje. At least the Valentine’s dinner went off without something else breaking. 🙂
Yes that was fortunate. It was a tough first year at university for her. She is still prone to fainting due to low blood pressure but luckily hasn’t broken anything else.

🙂 Send her much love and light, Marje.
Thank you Diana. 🙂
What a memorable holiday!
It certainly was!

She almost took out the egg with a swipe of the crutches! I’d likely be the same haha 😉 Fun flash, MJ!
Me too! We are a very accident prone family Christy.
